A problem with modern electronics is how to dispose of them.  Steven Rodrig found a way as an Inventive and Environmentally Conscious Artist: PCB Mixed Media.  Steven recycles and restructures Printed Circuit Boards and other electronic parts into works of art.  Subjects range from insects, flowers, and still life to intricate cityscapes.

The Herringbone PCB Data Journal is a functional, hand-made, recycled piece of art. The repetitive pattern used on the journal is beautifully symmetrical, using 2 separate PCB chip sets for the front and back covers.  The PCB Data Journal can be used to take notes or simply be a conversation starter as one of the most unique journals available.  The journal is detailed with other electronic components to add color and dimension.  Best of all, everything is recycled!
